Tonemaster '59 Jazzmaster Pickups
Tone Master '59 Jazzmaster pickup sets are hand made the same way as they did back in the day. Alnico 5 pole magnets and vulcanized fiberboard and vintage spec wax coated cloth hookup wire. Each bobbin is then dipped in lacquer to insulate the magnets, and then set aside for the lacquer to cure. Then your Pickup is hand wound with 42 AWG Formvar coated magnet wire to vintage specifications. Bridge and neck pickups are wound to be perfectly balanced with each other and wax potted. All sets have the neck pickup reverse wound and reverse magnetic polarity.
